Sad because this summer is over? Think you’ll have to wait until next year to go back to Worlds of Fun theme park in Kansas City, Missouri?
Luckily, that is not the case anymore. Worlds of Fun has great events now year-round. And one of those events is a Halloween event that is great for the whole family. And that event is the Great Pumpkin Fest!
This Peanuts-themed festival is one adults and children can enjoy together. It takes place on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) from September 16, 2023, through October 29, 2023.
So what happens at this festival? Well, we’re about to tell you about the fun activities this event has in store!
Trick-or-Treat in Wonderland
Looking for a safe place for your kids to trick-or-treat during the day in the Kansas City area? Well, what’s a better place than Worlds of Fun? Your kid can put on their Halloween costume and you can head to the park. Trick-or-treating takes place in the Europa section of the park.
And if you haven’t purchased a costume yet for your child, you can find great Halloween costumes for kids here. I personally really like the quality of these costumes; I feel like they are of higher quality than other Halloween costumes.
Count Snooptacula’s Costume Contest
And once you purchase one of those costumes for your child, they can show it off at Count Snooptacula’s Costume Contest! This is available for children ages 11 years old and younger.
Linus’ Haybale Maze & Pumpkin Patch
You can try to find your way through a maze of hay bales and cornstalks. There is also a patch where children ages 12 years old and younger can find their own mini-gourd and then they can take it home as a great souvenir!
Pigpen’s Creepy Crafts & Coloring
Have a child who loves arts and crafts? Then they will love the Halloween-themed crafts and coloring available at Pigpen’s Creepy Crafts and Coloring!
Pigpen’s Petting Farm
Do you or anyone in your family love animals? Then you will love the petting farm!
