Want to make a stay at All Star Movies more affordable?
All Star Movies is an on-site Disney World hotel in Orlando, Florida, that gives guests great Disney hotel perks. All Star Movies is considered a “value” Disney World hotel, meaning it is one of the cheapest onsite Disney World hotels there are.
But that doesn’t necessarily make it cheap. This is, after all, Disney World. It may be the most magical place on earth, but that magic doesn’t extend to our bank accounts.
But luckily, we have a lot of fun here at Green Vacation Deals figuring out ways to make a trip to Disney World more affordable. And we happen to like All Star Movies a lot. It is a neat hotel paying homage to Disney movies. You can see for yourself in our video.
All Star Movies Money Saving Hacks
So now I want to tell you what I do when I am planning a Disney World hotel stay. If there is a hotel I want to stay in, I go through steps to look for the cheapest rate. I compare all these rates (they are always changing, so you can’t skip steps if you want to ensure the best deal). Then, I know the deal I got was the best one available.
So here’s what you need to do when looking for the best rate for All Star Movies.
1. Check for Special Offers on Disney’s Website
Now, I did say earlier Disney is never cheap. But still, there can be some deals every now and then on Disney hotels here. It could be a seasonal deal. There are also other discounts available that you could qualify for, such as a Disney annual passholder deal or a US military deal.
But here’s the special trick that can make booking one of these stays more affordable I have used countless times. And that is earning money through Swagbucks. You can earn Swagbucks through simple things you are likely already doing, like internet searches, playing games on your phone, getting receipts from grocery stores, etc. We go over how to earn money on Swagbucks here.
You can use these Swagbucks to purchase a Disney gift card. And then you can use those Disney gift cards toward your hotel stay!
Even if you decide to book your Disney hotel through another website, you really should still try earning Swagbucks. You can use the gift cards for other parts of your Disney trip, like dining.
2. Check Priceline
So I learned a new hack a few years ago, and I have used it many times booking Disney hotels since then (yes, I go to Disney World a lot). And that is to check out the rates on Priceline. I was surprised to find out the discounts on Priceline are not only roughly similar to the discounts you get on Disney’s websites, but I have often found better deals on Priceline than on Disney’s website, even using my annual pass discount! So I would definitely check the rates on Priceline.
3. Check Undercover Tourist
Undercover Tourist is a website my family has used to book Disney hotels before. This is because they can offer deals better than Disney’s website.
Another perk of booking your hotel on Undercover Tourist? You can bundle your hotel stay with your Disney World park tickets, and that saves you more money. In fact, the Disney World park tickets on Undercover Tourist’s website are cheaper than the tickets on Disney’s website, so even if you don’t book your hotel through Undercover Tourist’s website you should consider booking your park tickets there.
4. Check Trivago
Sometimes, you can save a couple of bucks booking through Trivago, so I would check All Star Movies on Trivago. After all, a few dollars here and there can really save you money.
5. Check Kayak
The last step in my money-saving journey is checking Kayak. Kayak compares multiple websites, so that makes my last step easier. Basically, checking Kayak is a great way to make sure there is not some other deal out there. I’ll either find a better deal on Kayak, or I’ll know the deal I am getting on another website is the best deal out there.
