But first, let’s tell you more about this festival. It is a nighttime event featuring Chinese lanterns that were meticulously handcrafted. These lanterns are illuminated with vibrant LEDs. This is a wonderful Chinese cultural experience.
But the cultural and art experience doesn’t just end with the lanterns. The Asian Arts New York (AANY) will be there providing performances. This includes folk music, traditional drumming, dragon dances, Chinese opera, visual arts, and Tai Chi.
The entertainment and fun doesn’t stop there, though. There are fun things for all ages. This includes an artisan craft market, a bouncy house, and a merchandise shop.
The event takes place on Thursday nights through Sunday nights from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. It is a limited time event that runs through November 1, 2026. It takes place at Mabee Farm in Rotterdam Junction, NY. Admission is free for guests ages two and younger.
