CALM Holiday Lights
It wouldn’t be the Christmas season in Bakersfield, CA without the Holiday Lights at the California Living Museum! But given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the CALM Holiday Lights will be a bit different this year. It is now a safe drive-through event. That way, everyone can easily social distance but still have a lot of fun seeing the holiday lights!
And the Christmas lights are great! They feature designs by Josh Barnett’s Lightasmic. It really is a wonderful event for adults and kids. It’s a wonderful way to get out of the house and celebrate Christmas while staying safe.
This Bakersfield, California holiday event will be held nightly between now and January 2nd, 2021. Gates open at 5:30 PM and the gates close at 8:30 PM.
You can enter CALM’s HolidayLights from Lake Ming Road towards Lake Ming and the Lake Ming Boat ramps. At the entrance is where you find Teen Challenge drive-thru concessions.
It is recommended that you purchase your ticket before you arrive. Not only will it save you time once you are there, but it is a lot safer when you take social distancing into consideration.

Your ticket is valid for one vehicle. And this vehicle has to be under 10 feet in height. This includes antennae, light mounts, etc.
