Commissioned in 1945, the USS Midway is the longest serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century. The USS Midway played key roles in the Cold War, the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. It was decoissioned in 1992 and today is an interactive museum per Lonely Planet.
The USS Midway is celebrating Jingle Jets with dazzling light displays. The ship has been transformed into a holiday wonderland with over one million lights.
Midway’s flight deck is now a breathtaking stage of synchronized lights and festive music. The lights dancing to the music is an awesome sight!
