Mayor Sylvester Turner will begin this year’s holiday celebration on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in downtown Houston. This free event will be happening from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Two time Grammy Award winner and founding member of Destiny’s Child, LaToya Luckett will be co-headlining the Holiday Spectacular. RaeLynn, two time Academy of Country Music New Female Vocalist nominee, will also co-headline.

The Holiday Spectacular will feature the tree lighting and the “Hallelujah Chorus” from “Handel’s Messiah.” The music will be orchestrated and timed with the fireworks. It truly will be spectacular!
This is the 105th annual holiday celebration. There will also be complimentary food samples and seasonal food and beverages for sale. Free Santa hats will be given to everyone (while supplies last).
