The Christmas season is a great time of the year to spend quality time with your family and friends.  It is really great if you can find a wonderful Christmas event you can visit with your loved ones.

And you can do just that at Santa’s Holiday Laser Show.  It takes place at the Georgia Carolina Fairgrounds in Augusta, Georgia.  The show essentially works as a drive-in movie.  You will park your car.  You’ll be given a designated “tailgating” space in front of your vehicle.  And then you can set up chairs and sit in front of your car.

There are a lot of good reasons to attend this wonderful holiday event.  For starters, it is a great show.  It is a family-friendly laser show.  It has:

  • Lasers (as the name of the show implies)
  • Christmas Themed Laser Effects
  • Christmas Lights
  • Holiday Music

You can listen to the holiday music through your car radio on a designated FM Station.

The show is about sixty minutes.  This can make a great date night or a good time with your family.

And a great thing about this event is that you pay by car.  So you’ll pay a lot less money than if you say went to the movie theater with your family.  And the laser show will be even more magical for the season, too!

Coupon

Looking for a coupon to help you save money on this holiday event?  Click here and you can automatically save up to 50% on your admission.  No promo code is needed!

There are discounted tickets for general admission and VIP admission.

VIP Exclusive means you can park at the very front row, which gives you the best view of the Laser Projection Screens and the pyrotechnics.  VIP is for rows two through seven.  And then general admission tickets are the rest of the rows.

They also recommend you get there one hour before the show starts.  Where you sit is also determined on a first-come, first-served basis.  So if you get a VIP ticket and you want the second row, get there early.  And if you buy a general admission ticket, you could end up in the very back (though really, all spots will get you a good view because the Laser Beams shoot over cars in a canopy about thirty feet overhead).

It’s also important you get there early because if you arrive late, you can’t interrupt the show.  You’ll have to wait until the next show and park in general admission, even if you bought VIP before.

Additional Information

Please note that this event is sadly not recommended for anyone with extreme sensitivity to light or for anyone with epilepsy.

Also, please turn off your headlight when you park.

And don’t be deterred from going if it is raining – rain actually enhances the lasers!

You can also bring your snacks and refreshments.  There are clean and sanitized bathrooms onsite.
