Santa’s Rock n’ Lights is one of Chicago’s longest-running drive-thru Christmas light shows. The 2025 season started back on November 22nd and will run through December 31st. I want to tell you about what to expect at this seasonal event. I also want to tell you about how you can save money on this experience with a coupon.
But first, let’s talk about the event. This is a one-mile drive through sparkling Christmas lights. Hundreds of thousands of programmable lights sparkle in unison with holiday music. To hear the music, just turn your radio to 92.1 FM.
These holiday lights create memorable holiday scenes that are as fun as they are seasonal, such as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus playing guitars (this is, after all, Rock N Lights!).
The event has a speed limit of three miles per hour, so it takes around twenty to twenty-five minutes to go through the trail. It’s a really fun experience that adults and children can enjoy. All of this takes place just west of Wrigleyville on the North Side of Chicago.
A neat thing about this event is that you pay per carload. This means up to six people can attend by purchasing just one ticket. This saves you money.
