Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a great choice for a hotel to stay in during a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.  First of all, it’s a good hotel; we told you the hotel’s benefits here.  Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa also has all the perks of staying at an onsite Disney World hotel (we tell you these Disney hotel perks here).  But at the same time, since it is a deluxe hotel, you get a perk that a lot of other Disney hotels don’t get: extra park hours at night.  And finally, we’ve found that Saratoga Springs is the most affordable of these Disney deluxe hotels, so it’s a good deal, too.

I discovered a lot of these hacks many years ago when I was trying to find affordable rates so I could continue to visit Disney World even during times in my life when money was tighter.  A lot of the hacks I used years ago still work, and we keep adding new tricks to save money.

But here is our top five hacks you could use to save money on a Saratoga Springs visit in 2026.  By using one of these hacks, you could pay less for Saratoga Springs than you do for a Disney value hotel or an off-site hotel!

And here’s one more tip before you continue reading these hacks: make sure you check out all the hacks to ensure you are getting a stay for the lowest available rate!  Depending on availability and other factors, which hack could save you money could be different every time.  So price shop to make sure you get the best deal!

1. Book a Room with DVC Points (Without Becoming a DVC Member!)

The best way to save money staying at Saratoga Springs that my family has found is booking a room using DVC points, or Disney Vacation Club points.  This is how we were able to initially stay at Saratoga Springs at a really affordable price.  We have used this hack so many times throughout the years to finance our Disney trips.

And the best part?  We’ve done it without having to become a Disney Vacation Club Member!  You can actually rent DVC points without having to be a member.  It might sound complicated, but it’s actually not; we tell you how to rent DVC points here through David’s Vacation Club Rentals.

2. Earn Swagbucks

Another way I have afforded Disney trips throughout the years when my bank account wasn’t exactly in great shape is by using something called Swagbucks.  It is a “Get paid to” website that my family has used for over ten years.  How it works is that I can earn something called “Swagbucks” for simple things like playing a game on my phone or doing an internet search.  We talk about ways to earn Swagbucks here.

Once you’ve earned up enough Swagbucks, you can exchange the Swagbucks for gift cards.  And guess what one of those gift cards is?  Disney!

You can then use this Disney gift card on Disney’s website when booking your hotel (which I have done many times before).

I will say, though, that the first hack generally saves more money.  Booking DVC rooms is much cheaper than doing it on Disney’s website.  So if you earn Swagbucks for Disney gift cards but you end up booking through David’s Vacation Club Rentals and not Disney’s website, you can use those Disney gift cards to pay for your dining.  And that helps you save on your overall trip.

3. Look for Deals on Disney’s Website

But here is a way you can get a cheaper website through Disney’s website.  And that is took look for deals.  There are sometimes deals on Disney’s website here.  At certain points in the year, there are seasonal sales.  There are discounts for US military members and Disney annual passholders.  You can earn Swagbucks to help pay for Disney gift cards to use for these bookings, of course.

But before you lock in one of these rates, though, check the next hack.

4. Check Priceline

Priceline actually has discounts that are not only similar to what you find on Disney’s website, but they are often better than what you would find on Disney’s website.  I’ve actually booked Disney hotel rates that are cheaper than what I would have gotten with my annual passholder discount.  So definitely check out Priceline before you book your stay!

5. Check Kayak

The last thing you should do before you book your hotel room is to check Kayak.  Kayak checks multiple hotel websites, so it takes the work out for you.  And if there is any deal out there that’s even better than the other deals I mentioned before, you could find it on Kayak!  So definitely check for Saratoga Springs rates for the dates of your vacation on Kayak.
