Being at Disneyland after dark makes for a memorable experience – especially when it’s a uniquely themed event! And Disney After Dark Disney Channel Nite is just that.
This after hours event at the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California will take place on March 5 and March 7. And in this guide, we’ll go over what you need to know about this brand new Disneyland event.
What is Disneyland After Dark Disney Channel Nite?
Disneyland After Dark is a series of fun themed nights at Disneyland. These are special events that require their own ticket (i.e. they aren’t included with regular park admission). Some of the themes include Sweethearts’ Nite, Star Wars Nite, Pride Nite, and more. And new for 2024 is Disney Channel Nite! In addition to the typical fun you can have with Disneyland rides and attractions, you can enjoy special Disney Channel themed entertainment and experiences.
So are rides open during Disney After Dark?
One of the exciting things about Disneyland After Dark is that you get to ride select Disneyland attractions during the event. And because this is a special ticketed event, there are usually less crowds and shorter wait times.
Also, you get to enter Disneyland 3 hours before the event starts, even if you don’t have a regular Disneyland ticket. This is another great opportunity for you to enjoy some of your favorite rides.
What else is there to do at Disney Channel Nite?
Other than rides, there are plenty of things to do at Disney Channel Nite, from karaoke and dance parties to themed photos and more.
Music & Entertainment
At Disney Channel Nite, there are some fun musical experiences themed to popular Disney Channel franchises.
In the Golden Horseshoe Saloon, rock out at the Camp Rock karaoke party! In between the karaoke, you can also see how well you know the Disney Channel fandom with the Ultimate Disney Channel Trivia Challenge.
Travel through the Rivers of America on the Sailing Ship Columbia. But this is no ordinary cruise! It’s actually a musical journey through the tunes of all three Descendants movies.
High School Musical
Attend a High School Musical pep rally traveling throughout Disneyland!
Phineas and Ferb
Who wouldn’t want to attend a Phineas-and-Ferb-themed dance party? You can find it at Tomorrowland Terrace.
Take amazing photos with backdrops themed to Disney Channel TV shows and movies, like:
- Lizzie McGuire
- Teen Beach Movie
- The Cheetah Girls
- Camp Rock
- an illuminated Disney Channel logo
Additional things to do include:

What time does Disney Channel Nite tickets go on sale?
The tickets are already on sale! And one of the two dates, March 7, is already sold out. But you can still purchase Disney Channel Nite tickets for March 5 here.
What do the tickets include?
Tickets for Disney Channel Nite grant you admission to the event, which lasts from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. You can also enter Disneyland at 6:00 PM and have fun in the park for three hours before the event starts.
But that’s not all! Disney Channel Nite tickets also include:

However, please note that tickets do not include parking. They also do not include admission to Disneyland during the day, as you will not be able to get into Disneyland prior to 6:00 PM. If you’d like to enter Disneyland earlier than 6:00 PM, you should purchase separate Disneyland park admission.
How much is the Disney Channel night?
The Disney Channel Nite at Disneyland costs $139 per person for anyone ages 3 years old and older. Those younger than age 3 can get in for free and do not need a ticket.
Where do you stay when going to Disneyland?
If you’ll be traveling from out of town to attend this Disney After Dark event, then I’m sure you’d love to stay at a great hotel.
The Disneyland Hotel is an amazing place to stay and within walking distance to the parks (Disneyland and California Adventure). We recommend using this hack to save money on a Disneyland Hotel villa.
You can also stay at one of the other official Disneyland hotels, Disney’s Paradise Pier and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. We also recommend these hotels close to Disneyland with indoor pools, as well as these hotels near Disneyland with onsite waterparks.
