10 Reasons You Should Stay at Music Road Resort Pigeon Forge

The views here were stunning!  I got a 7^th floor room with an amazing view of Pigeon Forge, Little Pigeon River and the Smoky Mountains.  From the view you could see the fun of Pigeon Forge combined with the tranquility and natural beauty of the water and mountains.  And how can you beat that?

The Music Road Resort has this great feature where there’s a porch that overlook the Little Pigeon River.  You can sit on the porch and just watch the river.  It’s quite peaceful, and a wonderful addition to the hotel, because it means that even if you don’t have a view from your room, you can still experience the beauty of the area by staying there!

The Music Road Resort is appropriately themed to music, given the area, and there were musical touches throughout the hotel, from the pictures to the rooms named after musical instruments.  I am a big fan of hotels with a clear & consistent theme because I feel it adds to the fun of a vacation.

The lobby was a wonderful mix of beauty with a cozy feel.  Everywhere you looked was beautiful furniture and decorations, yet with the comfortable sofas and fireplace, it still felt like the kind of place where you could kick back and relax.  

The room I stayed in was quite large.  I was going to Pigeon Forge as one destination on a large road trip and had a lot of stuff (I also tend to overpack), but everything could get in my room, no problem, with lots of extra room.  I have had the same amount of luggage in other hotel rooms and have felt like I was constantly stepping over suitcases, but not here.

When I think of hotels that offer free breakfast to their guests, I tend to picture chain hotels and non-themed hotels, but that is not the case here.  The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast with lots of options.  In fact, sometimes at breakfast buffets, there aren’t a lot of options and you are having to search for something to eat but here there were so many options that you could stay here for days and switch up what you eat every day.

Have you ever booked a hotel with an indoor pool and wanted to use it but by the time you got back to the hotel at night the pool was already closed?  And even if you wanted to swim the next morning, by the time the pool opened it was too late and you already needed to be back on the road?  Well, that is not the case with the Music Resort, as it has a great large pool along with a hot tub indoors that is open 24 hours!  So it wouldn’t matter what time it was or what the weather was like, you would be able to swim here.

In addition to the great indoor pool, the hotel also has a great water park outside, with a mushroom fountain, 60 foot water slide and (my personal favorite) a lazy river.  Pigeon Forge is a great place to go for family fun, and it’s awesome to be staying at a hotel where there’s already fun things to do at the hotel for no extra cost.

In addition to the pool, the Music Road Resort also has a game room, with a large selection of arcade games as well as activities families can do together, like air hockey and a pool table.  This is another wonderful touch that lets families have fun things to do that don’t cost any extra.

If you ever wondered if there was such a thing as Southern hospitality, you would never wonder that again after visiting the Music Resort.  Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly.  It tremendously added to my wonderful experience visiting here.
