Dark Harbor Halloween on the Queen Mary is Southern California’s most haunted event! And this horror extravaganza is returning this year. It will run on select nights from September 19 to November 2, 2025.
The Queen Mary and the surrounding harbor will be transformed into a Hallowell festival. You’ll be able to choose from horrifying mazes to Sinister Swings. You’ll experience a mix of fan favorite characters and fresh new scares. This ensures a unique thrilling evening for first time visitors as well as returning guests.
You can experience 23 nights of pure terror. Come face to ace with the Captain, Scary Mary, Samuel the Savage and hundreds of other monsters. Dark Harbor Halloween is where fear and confusion reign supreme!
Haunted Mazes
Lullaby
In the depths of Queen Mary’s first class swimming pool, you’ll meet the ghost of Scary Mary. She wants to guide you to a watery abyss. Can you find your way through the maze before she lures you into a vortex that leads to the underworld?
Infirmary
The spirits of a sadistic surgeon and his assistant want you to participate in their gruesome procedures. The path of their destruction stretches from first class decks to third class corridors. Will you be a victim of their gory game?
Feast
Step into the ship’s kitchen and meet the Butcher. Can you escape his wrath or will you be the main course for dinner tonight?
If you escape him in the maze, you’ll take the Feast’s path to the depths of the historic Engine Room. There you’ll hear the whispers of Hell Hatch Henry and walk through Door 13…if you dare.
Big Top Terror
Discover the terrors that lurk within the shadows of the Big Top. This carnival is a deadly maze of jack o lanterns with an evil Ringmaster who wants your soul. Does doom await you in this dark maze?
Breakout
Enter and step into the shoes of Samuel the Savage, the notorious murderer. You’ll need to find hiding places as you seek revenge. Will you give in to twisted voices? Can you resist the urge to kill?
Haunted Theatrical Experience
Lady Mabel’s Seance
Step into the Summoning Circle as the psychic, Lady Mabel, tries to summon the spirit of the murderer Samuel. Experience ten minutes of suspense and supernatural encounters. The line between life and death is dangerously blurred.
Haunted Attractions
Anchor Axe
Test your precision and strength by throwing axes at a target. It’s great for beginners and experienced hurlers and combines skill and fun. This is not included in any admission and can be purchased a la carte as an upgrade.
Pirate’s Plunder Shootout
Show everyone your sharpshooting skills in this pirate themed shooting game. This can be purchased a la carte.
Bayou Buccaneer S’Mores
Step aboard the Voodoo Priestess’ cursed galleon and move through glowing symbols, whispered spirits and firelit rituals. Find the mystical s’mores kit. You’ll need to eat it quickly before the spirits claim their share.
The Shipyard
Enjoy fishbowl cocktails and killer cuts here. LVCRFT’s DJ Killtrina fills the dance floor with pulse pounding sets.
Ringmaster’s Halloween Carnival
See sideshow performers, drag queens and fire performers on the Bizarre Bar stage.
Entertainment
Maiden Voyage Launch Party
Join the Captain in the Shipyard at 8:08 pm for the Maiden Voyage Launch Party. This ghoulish spectacle has minions and monsters rising from their graves to terrify the guests.
Final Voyage
A dance party features modern Latin music, reggaeton and an appearance by el Diablo.
Dark Harbor Sliders
Enjoy a performance by the legendary Queen Mary Dark Harbor Sliders at 9 pm and 11 pm in the Seaside Village.
Fire Spinners
The Fire Spinners perform nightly on the Fire Stage.
Voodoo Sound Company
Voodoo Sound Company is a percussion trio that performs nightly with the Voodoo Priestess in the Voodoo Bayou
Additional Performers
- Magicians and Sideshow Performers can be seen in Bizarre Bar in the Circus area and can pop up in other places.

Ringmaster’s Rides
The Ringmaster has unleashed a twisted carnival with one of a kind rides and attractions.
- Sinister Swings is a Giant Wave Swing that was imported from Zierer, Germany.
- Scary Mary’s Ghost Rider is a carousel created exclusively for Dark Harbor. It features ghostly white horses with black light-responsive eyes and has blacklights throughout the inside, outside, and center.
- Zero Gravity – New for 2025 – This is the Ringmaster’s spinning chamber and it will rocket to full speed and lift to a 50 degree tilt.
- The Zipper – This classic scream machine flips and whirls you end over end in tumbling cages while the boom spins overhead. Buckle up, scream and try to figure out which way is up.
