The Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is the largest celebration of its kind outside of Asia and has been named one of the world’s top ten parades.  You’ll see beautiful floats, exploding firecrackers, ferocious lions and the newly crowned Miss Chinatown USA. This year there will be a 288 foot dragon, “Gum lung,” that will take over 180 people to carry it.  The parade will begin at 5pm on February 8, 2020, and will end at 9pm.
