You can visit the Rowan Museum, which incorporates 3 historic buildings: the Utzman–Chambers House Museum (from circa 1815), 1820 Hall House and Salisbury’s 1854 County Courthouse. There is also a great cultural arts community, and you can enjoy a Rowan art crawl on the 2nd Saturday of each month. There are also a lot of outdoor concerts in the summer and holiday events in downtown Salisbury. You’re also only 30 minutes away from the Charlotte Speedway and fun attractions at Concord Mills, like Sea Life Aquarium.
