When you think of what you have to pay for in a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, you might think of paying for your hotel, theme park tickets, flight, etc., but you might not think about dining.  Dining in Disney World can get quite expensive, but there is a way around it.

One thing I like to do is earn something called Swagbucks.  You can find out more information about Swagbucks here.  I earn up enough money to buy Walmart gift cards.  I then take those Walmart gift cards to Sam’s Club, where I have a membership.  I then buy Disney gift cards at a slight discount (a $150 gift card is $142.98 & a $500 gift card is $484.98).  I can transfer all my Disney gift cards to one Disney gift card (please see here).

I can then use the Disney gift card throughout the parks at all my favorite restaurants (Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom, Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater at Hollywood Studios, Rose & Crown Dining Room at EPCOT, etc.).  The more Swagbucks I earn, the more I can spend on dining.  I have had trips where the Disney gift cards completely paid for dining for not only me but my entire family – and I had money leftover afterwards!

One other thing: if you like eating at Rainforest Café at Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs, Yak & Yeti at Animal Kingdom or T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs, then you should know that these are all Landry restaurant, and here’s how you can save on Landry restaurants.
