It’s September, and you know what that means…time for Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado!
This is Colorado’s largest Halloween event, and will take place on five weekends, from September 28th to November 2nd.
It’s open on Fridays from 6:00 to 10:00 PM, Saturdays from 12:00 to 11:00 PM & Sundays from 12:00 to 9:00 PM.
And here’s a really fun part of this event: during the day it will be more family friendly, with free candy on a Trick or Treat Trail & Halloween interactive challenges, but then at night Fright by Night takes over, with haunted creatures lurking at every corner (please note that Fright by Night is only recommended for those ages 12 and over).
Kids can wear costumes, but be aware that some items (like capes) could be restricted on certain rides for safety reasons and any mask or costume that covers the face are not allowed for anyone over the age of 10 years old.
Fright Fest is included in admission (though some certain attractions at Fright by Night do cost extra), and you can buy discounted tickets through Groupon.
