Maybe you’ve been in Disney World or Disneyland and noticed it – other guests looking stylish, dressy, maybe even as if they’ve stepped out of another (very fashionable) era.
If so, there’s a good chance that you were visiting a Disney park on Dapper Day!
Since 2011, Dapper Days have been held in Disney Parks. The idea is to celebrate “stepping out in style” – to have fun dressing up in sophisticated fashions, be it vintage or contemporary (as no specific time period is required). You can look through pictures from last fall or this past spring to get an idea of how some guests celebrated Dapper Day. These events are not associated with the Walt Disney Company, but they do take place in the Disney parks in Anaheim, Orlando and Paris.
Upcoming Dapper Days this fall include:
- Saturday, September 9 – Disneyland Paris
- Sunday, November 5 – Disneyland (in Anaheim, California)
- Saturday, November 18 – Magic Kingdom (in Walt Disney World in Florida)
- Sunday, November 19 – EPCOT (in Walt Disney World in Florida)
Additionally, a Dapper Day Expo will be held at the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall in California. At the Expo, you can shop, meet designers, and dance to live music. Tickets are $10 (includes both days) for ages 13 and up, and children 12 and under get in free. Admission to the parks is not required, since the expo is held at the Disneyland Hotel. A free shuttle will run between the Grand Californian Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall. Dates and times are as follows:
- Saturday, November 4 – Noon to 7:00 PM
- Sunday, November 5 – 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Going to Disneyland in California?
You can make your reservations with a discounted rate for the Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotel by going online here. You can also call 714-520-5005 (Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM) and ask for the “Dapper Day Group Rate”.
The average nightly rates (not including taxes & fees) listed online are as follows:

Unfortunately, you cannot make those reservations online, but you can call 407-939-4686 Option 1 then 3 (Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM or Saturday and Sunday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM).
