Every June 23rd, Puerto Ricans celebrate la Noche de San Juan. This is the eve of the celebration of the birth of St. John the Baptist, which takes place on June 24th.
On Noche de San Juan, people like celebrating at places like beaches and parks with celebratory activities like music and dancing.
And if you are in Tampa, Florida during Noche de San Juan this year, there is a great Noche de San Juan celebration going on at a great place. And that is the Noche De San Juan Celebration at Adventure Island Waterpark!
Adventure Island’s Noche De San Juan Celebration takes place on Friday, June 23, from 7:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Even though it is at night, it is a family event you can take your kids to.
And if you want to party at a beach, you’re at the right place. You can hang out at Endless Surf, a great 17,000-square-foot wave pool with a rolling surf every ten minutes. And if you want music and dancing, well your favorite DJs from Rumba 106.5 will be there playing great music.
Other waterpark attractions will be open during the event, too. You can swim at the 9,000-square-foot pool, Paradise Lagoon, which is full of tropical blue water and a fun net you can climb on. Rapids Racer, a two-person raft slide attraction, is also open. So is Wahoo! Remix, Adventure Island’s first water slide that features synchronized light and sound elements.
And you know how I mentioned kids could attend this event? Well, Shaka-Laka Shore will be open during the event. That is Adventure Island’s newest kids’ water play area!
Since this is a special event, regular admission to Adventure Island cannot get you into the event. You’ll need to purchase a separate event ticket; you can purchase the special event ticket here.
