Idlewild & Soak Zone in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area was named “Best Children’s Park” by Amusement Today and “Best Park For Families” by National Amusement Park Historical Society. Their classic rides, live entertainment, waterpark and unique attractions are sure to please everyone.
Idlewild
Idlewild is the oldest amusement park in Pennsylvania. It also has the distinction of being the third oldest operating amusement park in the USA behind Lake Compounce and Cedar Point.
Take a trolley through Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. In Story Book Forest, the little ones can meet their favorite characters from nursery rhymes and fairy tales. They have classic rides like the ferris wheel, Merry-Go-Round, Scrambler, and Tilt-A-Whirl. Paul Bunyon’s Loggin’ Toboggan will get you splashed.

In Soak Zone, Wowabunga Family Wave Pool lets you “ride the tide.” Race your friends on Hydro Racers or drop 50 feet on Pipeline Plunge.
