The Montreal Beer Festival is known as the Mondial de la biere.  This huge celebration of beer is believed by many to be North America’s most important international beer festival!

The 31st edition of this beer festival is being held at Windsor Station & Rio Tinto Courtyard in a historic building in downtown Montreal.  This will be happening on June 19, 20 and 21, 2026.

Festival Hours

  • Friday – 3 pm to 11 pm
  • Saturday – 11 am to 11 pm
  • Sunday – 11 am to 9 pm

Bring your friends and discover unique beers together.  This year the festival will focus on imports from Belgium and Italy.  There will also be beers specially brewed for the festival.

The festival will have indoor and outdoor areas.  All outdoor tasting areas will be under marquees or under the awning, so you won’t have to be in the rain.

The 2026 Beer Festival will have more than 400 products. Enjoy beers imported from other countries, including Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Estonia, France, Brazil, Italy and more.

Food Concesions

Food concessions will include

  • Anita Empanadas et Churros
  • Frit et Gof (Belgium style fries with sauces, poutine and Belgium Waffles)
  • Basse Nuts (variety of nuts)
  • Argentine Grillades
  • Kevy (rolled treats on sticks)
  • Oh Mon Kogo (Korean style pogo)
  • Shawbridge (Pizza, smoked meat, gelato and more)

Bistro Gourmand

Bistro Gourmand is a gourmet eatery where you can enjoy 4 cheese, wine and beer pairings.  Activities will be hosted by experts presenting and explaining the combinations.”

Tasting and activities featuring Belgium beers will be at the Petit Pub.  More than 12 Belgium breweries will be at the festival.

At the Italian Pavilion, tasting of Italian food and drinks will be in an aperitif style.  Italian breweries will be there as well as breweries from Brazil and France.

The stage will be in the heart of Rio Tinto Courtyard and there will be a dance floor.  DJs and bands will be performing during the festival.  You can also participate in quizzes and watch sporting events.

Admission to the Montreal Beer Festival 2025 is free.  You can purchase coupons for the beer tasting and a tasting glass.
