The Montreal Beer Festival is known as the Mondial de la biere.  This huge celebration of beer is believed by many to be North America’s most important international beer festival!

The 30th edition of this beer festival is being held at Windsor Station & Rio Tinto Courtyard in a historic building in downtown Montreal.  This will be happening on May 24, 25 and 26, 2024.

Bring your friends and discover unique beers together.  This year the festival will focus on imports from Belgium, Brazil, France and the winning beers of the Canada Beer Cup.  There will also be beers specially brewed for the festival.

The festival will have indoor and outdoor areas.  All outdoor tasting areas will be under marquees or under the awning, so you won’t have to be in the rain.

The 2024 Beer Festival will have more than 400 products.  There will be 33 Quebec breweries at the festival and 74 non-Quebec breweries for a total of 107 breweries.  Imported beers will come from Iceland, Estonia, Belgium, United States, Spain, Italy, Germany, England, Brazil, The Netherlands, Ireland, Austria, Denmark and Canada.

There will be 10 food concessions:

  • Ferme Hill Head Chili
  • Bouches Libabises
  • Cunningham & Co.
  • Saint Bock
  • Frit et Gof
  • Kevy
  • Edouard & Leo
  • La Cabana A Chichi
  • Morso Pizza
  • Tacosca + Shawarma

There will be a fun terrace animated by Randolph Animation.  There will be contests awarding prizes, exhibitions of making beer and beer and cheese workshops.

Enjoy music with DJ Pat the Brat on stage.  DJ Pat the Brat is eclectic and unpredictable and his sets have no boundaries.  From dub-reggae to quirky ye-ye via garage rock, punk afrobeat, cumbia, old school jazz, hip hop, funk, techno or disco, the musical spectrum of DJ Pat the Brat runs wide..

There will be three live music shows:

  • Friday at 8 pm – Melt It Up!
  • Saturday at 8 pm – Stompin’ Trees
  • Sunday at 8 pm – Les Mouvaises Mines

Admission to the Montreal Beer Festival 2024 is free.  You can purchase coupons for the beer tasting and a tasting glass.
