The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois is one of the largest science museums in the world. And so visiting there any time of the year would be great. But it gets even more special during the holiday season. And that is because of the Christmas Around the World display.
Christmas Around the World Exhibit
This holiday tradition started in 1942 with just one Christmas tree. But oh how it’s grown! Now there are more than 50 trees displays that represent holiday traditions & cultures from around the world. And in the middle of this display is the Grand Tree. And this isn’t just any Christmas tree. The Grand Tree is a floor-to-dome, four-story Christmas tree. So prepare to be amazed when you enter this exhibit!
And if you visit this exhibit during the weekends, you will also get to enjoy live holiday performances! This is a wonderful holiday event to attend with your family friends, friends, or by yourself.
