Foodies Festival is the event for everyone who is passionate about what they eat, always looking for new flavors and recipes. It is a celebration of food, drinks and music. And it’s coming to Rouken Glen Garden Centre in Glasgow on August 9, 10 and 11, 2024.
Festival Hours
- Friday, August 9 – 2 pm to 10 pm
- Saturday, August 10 – 11 am to 9 pm
- Sunday, August 11 – 11 am to 8 pm
At the festival, you can see Michelin Starred Chefs, Master Chef Champions and top local chefs. They will be cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Espanola Chefs Theatre.
In The Drinks Theatre, you can sample new wines, champagnes and cocktails. Kids can have fun with food in The Kids Cooking Theatre.
Expert bakers will show you how to make amazing cakes in the Pots & Co. Cake & Dessert. Great British Bake Off stars will share baking hints and tips live on stage. You’ll see easy to make recipes that are as delicious as they look.
You can meet artisan producers. There will be eating competitions which are always fun and food challenges.
The All New Flavor Town Fire Stage will have demonstrations of amazing fire cooking recipes. These will include Louisiana Cajun Chicken, Cowboy Butter Tomahawk Steak, Perfect Pulled Pork, The Taco’ver and Like a Fish Out Of Water – salmon cooked to perfection. Go in to see the demonstrations and stay for a taste.
Celebrity Chef Nigel Brown of the Nigel Brown Cookery academy will be giving Hands On Authentic Thai Green Curry School. One 45 minute session costs 25 pounds.
And don’t forget the music! Symphonic Ibiza will be performing on Friday, Blue will be performing on Saturday and Scouting For Girls will be performing on Sunday.
