Enjoy blockbuster movies under the stars at Chicago Drive-In theater. For decades, drive-in movies were an American tradition for night time entertainment. And now, in 2020, they’re back!
You can watch movies on television with commercials or on your phone by yourself. A drive-in movie theater gives you the option of enjoying great movies with your family or your friends or both.
You don’t have to worry about being packed into a crowded movie theater with people you don’t know. Watch movies in the comfort of your own car or SUV with the people you love. There’ll be no one to shush you when you want to comment on the movie.

The price for the movie is per vehicle. Feel free to bring the whole family. You can have as many people that can legally fit in your vehicle.
The audio is quality FM stereo sound that is tuned directly through your vehicle’s FM stereo. The FM station will be listed on screen before the movie. You can also get the audio on a portable radio.
Concession Stand
The Drive-In has a concession cart that will be driving throughout the venue before and during the movie. There is also a concession tent. Both sell candy, soda, chips and ice cream. Food trucks will also be there.
Special Messages
If you’d like to send a loved one a special message on the screen, that can be arranged for a minimal fee. The Drive-In will need a one week advance notice for your custom message.

Upcoming movies include “Onward,” “Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2,” “Metallica” and “Avengers Endgame” plus a Drive-In Music Festival.

Management recommends that you arrive early to get the best available spot.
Chicago Drive-In is in Hoffman Estates, a northwest suburb of Chicago in Cook County. It’s an easy drive from downtown Chicago via I-90 W.
