Hola amigos!  Your presence is requested at the Cinco de Mayo Food Festival 2024 in Bridgeview, Illinois.  This will be happening on May 3, 4 and 5, 2024.

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of the ill equipped Mexican Army over the much larger French Army.  This occurred in the Battle of Puebla in 1882.  The victory became a symbol of Mexican resistance to foreign domination.

On Monday 5, people observe Cinco de Mayo, celebrating Mexican culture and heritage.  It has become a global festivity.

It’s time for a fiesta!  Grab your sombrero and poncho and get ready to party Cinco de Mayo style!

This multi-day festival will  feature an array of delicious food and beverages available for purchase.  Think tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, salsa – are you getting hungry?

There will be a large carnival with games and rides.  This is a family friendly festival.  There will be petting zoo activities for children.

You’ll find a vendor village at the festival with arts & crafts and other unique items for purchase, making for a great shopping experience.  And throughout the festival, there will be live music for you to enjoy.
