Wisconsin Dells is famous worldwide for its amazing waterparks.

And if it is an amazing waterpark you are looking for, then you should not be disappointed at the Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells.  Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells is home, after all, to an 80,000-square-foot indoor water park.  This means it is a perfect 84 degrees year-round, so even if the weather outside is dreadful, you can have fun indoors here!

Though having said this, there are outdoor waterpark attractions, too.  Which is great on nice days when you want to enjoy the sunshine.

I want to tell you about some of the waterpark attractions plus other fun things to do at this resort.  Then I’ll tell you how you can save money on waterpark tickets, the arcade, food, drinks, or nightly hotel rates!

But first, let’s start with the waterpark.  This is Wisconsin Dells, after all.

Lookout Mountain

Lookout Mountain is a four-story tandem tube ride where you wind through a mountain and splash into the water below.

Alberta Falls

Alberta Falls is another tandem tube ride that not only takes you through turns and twists but outside the building and back in again as well!  It all culminates in a drop into the plunge pool.

Howlin Tornado

Howlin Tornado is a six-story super-fast thrill ride.  You ride in a raft built for four.  You’ll see how high the raft can ride up the walls before going down the last tunnel which results in an unforgettable splashdown.

Fort Mackenzie

Fort Mackenzie is an interactive four-story water fort treehouse with body slides and interactive water toys.  Oh, and there is a gigantic bucket on top that can tip anytime!

Totem Towers

Once you have reached the top of Fort Mackenzie, you can escape via the Totem Towers water slides!

Mountain Edge Raceway

Mountain Edge Raceway is a multi-lane mat racer-style attraction where you can race your friends and family down a water slide with a four-story drop.

Whooping Hollow

A play pool with water slides made for the “under 52 inches” crowd.

Here’s a slide that multiple ages can enjoy.  You can enjoy an enclosed or open ride down a a water slide.

Slap Tail Pond

Slap Tail Pool is a zero-depth-entry wave pool that gets as deep as five feet.  Kids and adults love seeing waves flow in every five minutes.

Crooked Creek

Crooked Creek is a relaxing lazy river attraction.

Cub Paw Pool

The Cub Pawl Pool is for the young guests at the Great Wolf Lodge.  It is a zero-depth entry that only gets to 18-inches deep, so it is great for the toddler crowd.  There are kiddie slides, geysers, and rainbow-colored jet skis with water cannons.

Chinook Cove

Love basketball?  Ever tried it in the water?  Well, you can practice your shots all you want in the pool at Chinook Cove!

Big Foot Pass

Big Foot Pass is a fun obstacle course-type attraction for younger guests with floating lily pads to jump on, cargo nets to hang on, and water so there will be soft landings.

Northwoods Hot Springs

But don’t think there are just attractions for only-kids; there are adult-only attractions, too.  Like Northwoods Hot Springs, a 21 years old and older hot tub area that is a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day.

South Hot Springs

Here is another hot tub area, but this time is it for guests of all ages.

Raccoon Lagoon

Raccoon Lagoon is an outdoor waterpark area with a three-foot, six-inch deep water play area.  There are fountains and poolside seating as well.

Tadpole Pond

Tadpole Pond is an outdoor play area for kids with geysers and water sprays.  You can relax on lounge chairs poolside while your kids.

Half Moon Lake

Half Moon Lake is an outdoor water fort treehouse with splash features, interactive water toys, and of course the tipping bucket.
