It’s that time of the year again. And, no, I am not referring to the fall season or the beginning of the football season or time for the World Series. No, I mean it’s time to go back to the 16th century. And you can do that by attending the St. Louis Renaissance Festival!
The St. Louis Renaissance Festival takes place at Rotary Park in Wentzville, Missouri. It takes place on weekends starting this weekend, on Saturday, September 13, 2025. It runs through October 26, 2025.

Themed Weekends
Each weekend will have a different theme:
- Highland Fling (September 13th & 14th) – This weekend has a Scottish theme and features contests and Highland Games
- Pups, Pints, and Pirates (September 20th & 21st) – This weekend features contests and activities for your pets such as the Wiener Dog Races & the Pirate & Pooches Parade
- Shamrocks and Shenanigans (September 27th & 28th) – This weekend has a Celltic games theme and features traditional Irish music and dance
- Viking Invasion (October 4th & 5th) – This weekend has a Vikings theme and features activities like the Viking Clash
- Oktoberfest (October 11th-13th) – This German-themed weekend is one of the most popular ones and features fun activities like the Sauerkraut Eating Competition and Who Wore it Best? Lederhosen Edition
- Heroes vs. Villains (October 19th & 18th) – This weekend features fun activities and contests, such as the Super Hero Costume Contest, Villain Costume Contest & Heroes vs Villains Dodge Ball
- Enchanted Halloween (October 25th & 26th) – A Halloween-themed weekend with activities like pumpkin bowling & a children’s costume pageant
Entertainment
There is a lot of great entertainment at this festival. This includes musical acts, street acts, and stage acts.
