Picklesburgh celebrates all things pickles.  It’s a really big dill!

Beginning in 2015, Picklesburgh took off and each year becomes bigger.  Last year, Picklesburgh had 30+ million views on Tik Tok alone. Admission is free and it is open to the public.

Picklesburgh has been recognized by USA Today as #1 Best Specialty Food Festival for the third time.  The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania features Picklesburgh as a “Signature Event” in Pennsylvania.

Given its increase in size, Picklesburgh will be moved to the Boulevard of the Allies in downtown Pittsburgh.  The 35-foot Heinz pickle balloon will be flying high over PPG Plaza.

Picklesburgh Hours:

Picklesburgh showcases Pittsburgh pickled history and culinary ingenuity.  There will be international dishes, prepared foods and artisan cocktails that feature pickles and pickled ingredients.

One of the festival’s many highlights is the Pickle Juice Drinking Contest.  Contestants compete for glory, honor, and pickled pride.  Pickle fanatics compete to drink a quart of pickle juice in the fastest time.  The winner will be named Mayor of Picklesburgh.

Picklesburgh will have great live, local musicians and singers performing throughout the weekend.  Many different genres will be featured so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.  Performers include

Kids Zone

Li’l Gherkins is the kids play area.  Kids can have free coloring pages, decorate pickle necklaces and make puppets to take home as souvenirs.  Li’l gherkins must be accompanied by an adult.
