Summer may be ending, but that means we are about a week away from some fall family fun at Maize Quest Fun Park in New Park, Pennsylvania!
For over twenty-five years, the team at Maize Quest has been giving guests an amazing Cornfield Maize Adventure. Each year the maze is different with a different theme. Some of the past themes have been Ancient Egypt, Dinosaurs, Alien Invasion, Gladiator: Journey to Ancient Rome, The Wild West, Sherlock Holmes, Mayan Mystery, China: The Forbidden City, Atlantis: Search for the Lost City, the Ice Age, Mad Scientist, Alice in Wonderland, Secret Agent, The Big Top, and Island Adventure.
I am really excited about this year’s theme, “Search for the Loch Ness Monster”. The Loch Ness Monster mystery has fascinated ever since I read a story about it as a kid, so I think it’s realy neat that Maize Quest chose this for the theme this year.
Throughout the years, Maize Quest has evolved from just a single attraction (the corn maze) to a full-scale fall seasonal fun park! It also has a pumpkin patch where you can pick pumpkins and an apple orchard where you can pick apples!
There are other attractions, too. In fact, there are over thirty total attractions!

Maize Quest Fun Park is located at Maple Lawn Farms & Winery in New Park, Pennsylvania. It is close to York, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland.
Dates & Hours
Maize Quest Fun will be available during regular operating hours from August 30th, 2025, through November 2nd, 2025.
Here are the hours:
- Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sundays: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
There are also extended “flashnight nights” hour that run from September 27th through November 3rd:
- Fridays & Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sundays: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
There are also a few holidays when Maize Quest Fun Park is open:
- Labor Day (Monday, September 1st): 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Rosh Hashanah (Thursday, October 2nd): 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Columbus Day (Monday, October 13th): 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Maryland Teacher Convention (Friday, October 17th): 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
