Don your dirndl and be prepared to party German style at the 10th annual King’s Oktoberfest 2022 in Houston, Texas. It’s coming to the historic Heights area. Oktoberfest hours will be
- Friday, October 14 – 5 pm to 12 am
- Saturday, October 15 – 12 pm to 12 am
- Sunday, October 16 – 12 pm to 9 pm
This is a cultural celebration supporting the preservation of the Germany community’s traditions and heritage.
The Ceremonial Keg Tapping will take place on Friday at 7:30 pm. This will officially start the festivities just like in Munich. Bier tastes better from a wooden keg.

There will be a Grand Prize plus Giveaways and you’ll have a chance to win big every day. The Giveaway schedule is

You must be present to win. Raffle tickets can be purchased during the festival.
Additional Oktoberfest Information
On Friday and Saturday at 9 pm, you can enter the Bavarian Stronghuman Contest. See how long you can hold (arm extended) a one liter mug filled with bier. The winner gets to keep the mug and the bier and is automatically entered into the Grand Prize Raffle.
Belly dancers will perform on Friday at 8 pm and on Saturday at 1 pm. There will be a Fire Show on Friday at 9 pm and on Saturday at 8:30 pm.
Bring your dog to King’s Oktoberfest for the Dog Costume Contest on Saturday at 5:30 pm. The winner will receive a basket filled with dog treats, collar, leash and toys valued at $200.
A Photo Booth will be there for instagramable worthy photos. There will be live entertainment throughout the festival and carnival rides, including a mechanical bull.
