Willie Nelson started this annual event in 1973 and is returning to Austin and bringing an outstanding cast with him. This show will feature Willie Nelson and his family, Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep At The Wheel and Tami Nielson.
Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic & Fireworks isn’t just another concert (although it will be a fantastic one!). It’s a festival of song, heart and soul. Willie Nelson and his family will be bringing their timeless music that resonates with multiple generations of fans. This gathering will celebrate the essence of American music as well as its culture.
This event has been a staple in the music community for more than five decades. Music fans of all ages come together to celebrate the independence of our country with music and song.

This is Texas and it’s in July, so come prepared for a full day outdoors. Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. There will be water stations throughout the amphitheater. Food vendors will be there with delicious offerings, including the incomparable Texas barbecue!
