Fest of Spring is coming to the Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, Maryland, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 12 pm to 8 pm. The Fest is a celebration of Caribbean wine, music, cuisine and art.

Wine glasses will be given out upon entry and you can sample wines and flavorful food.

  • Jamaica’s

The Fest will feature live entertainment. You’ll see local performers as well as internationally renowned artists. Performers include

  • Richie Stephens is a Jamaican R&B, dancehall and reggae singer, songwriter and producer. He was a part of the two time Grammy winning act Soul II Soul.
  • Lukie D is a Jamaican dancehall singer and DJ. He’s known for his powerful voice range and soulful voice. His biggest hit is “Center of Attraction.”
  • Bryan Art is a Jamaican reggae singer, musician, songwriter, guitarist and producer. He’s a former member of the Legendary Fire House Crew. He is now devoting his time to his singing career.
  • Turner is from Trinidad and Tobago. His debut single, “She Bad.” has been a runaway hit.
  • Ras JIDJ Regg’Go Band
  • The Eclipse International Band
  • Ricky Platinum
  • Red Asylum
  • Pisces Sound
  • Black Widow Spider

Live DJs will be there to keep the music going.

A fashion show will be presented by P&T Productions. There will be activities and games for the kids. Children under 12 will get free admission.

Vendor Village will provide a great shopping experience. Admire jewelry, clothing and accessories. Craft vendors, food vendors, service provider vendors and artisan vendors will also be there.

Frederick, Maryland, is within 25 miles of Rockville, Green Valley, Germantown, Hagerstown, Mount Airy and Gaithersburg. Frederick is 40 miles from Washington, D.C., and 43 miles from Baltimore.
