Gatlinburg Space Needle
The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee are really beautiful. Whenever I visit the Smoky Mountains, I love staying at a hotel like the Music Road Resort in Pigeon Forge where you get amazing views of the Smoky Mountains.
But if you want to get an amazing view of the area, then you need to go on the Gatlinburg Space Needle. It is a 407’ observation tower with 360-degree views. You get great views of the Smoky Mountains and the beautiful trees. And not only do you get a great view of the mountains, but you also get a great view of everything that makes Gatlinburg so unique. We’re talking about the tourist attractions and iconic hotels of downtown Gatlinburg.
You can take a glass elevator to the top, so you get great views on your way up, too. Once you are on the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle, enjoy Higher Learning. This is an educational experience that tells you about the history of the Gatlinburg Space Needle. You also learn about the history of Gatlinburg and some fun facts about Gatlinburg. It has free viewfinders, too!
And that’s not all that you will find at the Gatlinburg Space Needle. Onsite is Arcadia, a 25,000 square-foot arcade and amusement center. It features the latest simulators and video games and the area’s largest redemption center.
And if you get hungry while you’re there, check out the onsite Slice Pizza Bakery. They serve New York-style pizza.
The Gatlinburg Space Needle is located at 115 Historic Nature Trail in Gatlinburg, TN. It is open throughout the entire year and is a wonderful addition to any trip to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
