Laissez les bons temps rouler in Seguin, Texas! You can come celebrate Mardi Gras on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Seguin Coliseum, where you can enjoy live music, contests, parades, giveaways, food, drinks, and more. We’ll give you an overview of what to expect – and tell you about how to snag a discounted ticket.
But first, let’s talk about all the fun you can expect at the event.
Golf Cart Parades
There will be two golf parades in the parking lot of the Coliseum. The first one is at 1:00 pm and the second one is at 5:00 pm. At the grand parade, guests will be showered with trinkets, cups, and, of course, beads!
King Cake
The King Cake is a big part of this event. The event’s mascot is a Rolling King Cake Baby. You can get pictures with the Rolling King Cake Baby.
There is a King Cake Walk every hour.
And there are delicious King Cakes available, too!
Activity Areas
There are two large activity areas for kids and adults in the parking lot.
The first area has a Hero Havoc Obstacle Course, where kids can run around and be kids. Kids can also ride the Mardi Gras Parade Train throughout the day. They can also race pedal cars.
But there’s fun there for adults, too. There’s a mechanical bull, tetherball, and cornhole.
Then there is the Carnival Area that has four rides:
- A western-themed bench swing ride
- Dixie Swing Dragonfly fixed-chair swing ride
- Wild Slide that’s 28 feet tall and 100 feet long
- Kid’s Swing Ride

There are multiple contests at the event.
Holiday Rove Float Contest
There is a float contest where first prize gets a ride in the golf cart at the final parade. Second and third place winners also get to walk in the parade.
Top Decorated Golf Cart
There will be a lot of golf carts decorated at the parade, but if you win the contest, you’ll get to the lead the second parade! You also get a free golf cart entry in 2027.
Art Contest
Show off your artistic skills in the art contest. The first prize winner gets to take home a trophy and their name will be announced at the end of the day.
Wagon Costume Contest
Build the ultimate wagon float. If you win, you get free parade entry to the final parade while the second and third place winners get to walk in the parade.
Costume Contest
Adults and children can enter the costume contest. All contestants must be on stage by 6:00 PM. The first place for adults and the first place for children both receive a trophy.
