When I think of Miami, I don’t think of snow. And when I think of snow, I don’t think of Miami.
But all of that can change this year if you visit Florida’s largest mall, which is Aventura Mall on Biscayne Boulevard in Aventura, Florida. Because that is where you’ll find an exciting Snow Carnival!
There are 350 tons of real snow at this event. So even though it is unlikely to snow this year in South Florida, you’ll still get to enjoy snow this holiday season!
Given all the snow at this event, it is fitting that there are fun snow activities. It’s like having a fun snow day while still living in Florida. You can throw snowballs at a target or get on the snow-blanketed floor and make snow angels. Or you could build you very own snowman!
You can snow tube down a hill, otherwise known as the “Mini Matterhorn”. There are rides rides on an inner tube merry-go-round and bumper cars. You can even journey through a festive forest on the Holiday Express!
There’s also a snow-covered retail village where you can shop for holiday gifts. Or you can enjoy delicious holiday treats.
There’s also great photo opportunities here. You can pose with a friendly Yeti or pose in front of a life-size snow globe.
But that’s not all. There are also great winter and holiday decor, like Santa’s sleigh, a beautiful Christmas tree, and festive pathways. You can also spot polar bears, reindeer, and penguins among the decor.
