Looking to cool off this spring and summer in Nashville, Tennessee?  The best way to do that is at Nashville’s largest water park, Nashville Shores!  They have attractions kids and adults can enjoy, so a day at Nashville Shores can be fun for the whole family.

I want to tell you about these attractions.  And then I’ll tell you how you can save money on a ticket with a great deal!

Attractions

Mega Mayhem

Mega Mayhem is one of the newest attractions at Nashville Shores.  It has the distinction of being the biggest slide in the history of Nashville Shores!  Not only that, but it is only one of six attractions like it in the world!

It is a family raft ride.  It is a huge hybrid waterslide that starts on a 6-story platform.  Highlights of the attraction include the massive tornado funnel and the gigantic 40-foot wave wall.

Look for yourself how fun the ride looks.

Big Kahuna Family Raft Slide

Here’s another fun and adventurous family raft ride.  You begin your journey by going to the top of a 57-foot platform.  You are then blasted into a dark tunnel with a series of twists, turns, drops, and curves.  The raft then shoots through the tunnel opening.  It splashes through the s-shaped waterway so it catches major hang time along high bank walls.  Eventually, the ride splashes down in the catch pool.

Music City Racer

This is a fun attraction for anyone who is competitive because you get to race your family and friends.  That is because the attraction has multiple slides side by side.  So you can see who makes their way to the bottom of the slide first.  And you get to descend down more than the length of a football field slide at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour.  So really everyone is a winner because it is so much fun!

The Big Scream

This is an appropriately named attraction because it is so thrilling that guests often, well, scream!  It is a huge, three-story slide.  It begins with a steep, almost vertical drop so you feel like you are “free-falling” as you plunge down to the bottom.  But after that, you are shot back up close to the edge on the other side.

Tennessee Twisters

This is a body slide where you glide down four stories of twists and turns.  Then you plunge into a cool splash pool below.  You can choose between two different thrilling slides. Then you can race your friends or family to the bottom!

Twin Cyclones

As the name implies, these are two different twisting slides.  You slide down more than three stories.

Thunder & Lightning

Here’s another ride with two different awesome slides.  You twist and turn down these slides in both light and darkness.

Breaker Bay Wave Pool

You may be inland in Nashville, but you can still feel like you’re at the ocean when you’re at Nashville Shores.  That is because their Breaker Bay Wave Pool is an ocean-sized wave pool!  It is over 25,000 square feet and uses the patented WaveTek system.  That system is capable of producing five different wave patterns and creating rolling waves of up to four feet!

Castaway Creek Lazy River

What’s a good water park without a lazy river?  Nashville Shores has a great one with Castaway Creek.

Castaway Creek has the distinction of being the first lazy river constructed in Middle Tennessee.  It also holds the honor of being the widest in Tennesse, too.  It is an impressive 17 feet wide!  And it is more than 1,000-feet long.

In addition to being huge, it also has a waterfall and spray features.  So not only can you relax on this attraction, but you can also stay cool on a warm Nashville day.

Giant Bucket of Fun

Speaking of staying cool, Giant Bucket of Fun is really good for that.  Almost 500 gallons of water are unleashed approximately every five minutes at this attraction.

Kowabunga Beach

Kowabunga Beach is a water play area for kids.  It is a four-foot structure with seventy interactive features.  This includes four colorful water slides, a giant bucket that tips hundreds of gallons of water every few minutes, bridges, tunnels, water jets, and dozens of other water play elements.

Barefootin’ Bay and the Wacky Pond

Enjoy a kiddie pool and a colorful water play structure.  This play structure has more than 35 interactive water features, mini-slides, and a tipping bucket to help cool off guests.

Lily Pad Pool

See if you can get to the other side the fastest – and without falling – of your family friends when you try this pool obstacle course.

Suntan Lagoon

This is the largest pool at Nashville Shores.  It is a great place to relax.  Especially because it has wonderful views of Percy Priest Lake!

Speaking of Percy Pries Lake…

Aqua Park

Aqua Park is an interactive playground on Percy Priest Lake!  It has 40 colorful, interconnected water elements.  These include wiggle bridges, monkey bars, action towers, hurdles, and more.

The Beach

The beach is an area near Percy Priest Lake.  You can enjoy fun activities here like a game of beach volleyball with your friends and family.  Please note that swimming in the lake is not permitted.
