Additional Information

The idea for the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway came in 1972 when people realized there needed to be a comfortable way to reach the ski area of Gatlinburg.  It was completed in 1973 and has now been running for almost fifty years!  By this point, it has carried millions of people to Ober Gatlinburg.

Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway is a 120-passenger Aerial Tramway.  Even with its high capacity, there are few seats inside so you’ll probably have to stand.
