Old Town Trolley Tour Nashville
Nashville, Tennessee is one of my favorite cities to visit in America. There are so many fun things to do in Nashville.
In fact, there are too many fun things to do in Nashville. You’re going to want to see a lot of them. But parking in downtown Nashville can get expensive. And if you haven’t visited Nashville a lot, you’ll also want to learn about the city, right?
That is what is so great about the Old Town Trolley Tour in Nashville. The Old Town Trolley Tour is a 12-mile, fully narrated tour of Nashville. This is live narration, too. So you will learn a lot about Nashville. You will also get to see a lot, too. These are tall vehicles with stadium seating (with comfortable padded seats!).
But that’s not all. The Old Town Trolley has 15 different stops. So you can stop off whenever you get to an attraction that you would like to see.
Stops
1. 201 Broadway
This is the stop you would go off at if you wanted to visit:
- Hard Rock Cafe
- George Jone Museum
- Wild Horse Saloon
- Nissan Stadium (home to the Tennessee Titans & Nashville SC as well as other concerts and events)
2. Country Music Hall of Fame
This is the stop to get off at if you want to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. You can also visit:
- Music City Center
- Hatch Show Print
- Omni Hotel
3. Tenn South Distillery – Big Machine Vodka
This is the stop you would get off at if you wanted to see:
- Johnny Cash Museum
- Goo Goo Shop
- AT&T Building
- Ernest Tubb Record Shop
- Nissan Stadium
- Schermerhorn Symphony Center (where the Nashville Symphony plays)
- Patsy Cline Museum
4. Ryman Auditorium
This is where you get off if you want to visit Ryman Auditorium or explore:
- Downtown Presbyterian Church
- Puckett’s Grocery
- The Arcade
- Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge
5. Legislative Plaza
This is the stop if you want to visit:
- Tennessee State Capitol
- Tennessee Performing Arts Center
- Hermitage Hotel
- Tenessee State Museum
- War Memorial Auditorium
- Chet Atkins Statue
6. Musicians Hall of Fame
You should get off at this stop if you want to visit the Musicians Hall of Fame or one of these attractions:
- Nashville Sounds Ballpark
- Tennessee State Capitol
- Mary of the Seven Sorrows Catholic Church
7. Farmers’ Market
Get off here if you want to visit the Farmers’ Market or one of these places:
- Bicentennial Mall State Park
- Carillon
- Pathway of History
8. Marathon Motor Works
This is the best stop if you want to visit one of these attractions:
- Antique Archaeology
- Green Brier Distillery
- Grinder’s Switch Winery
9. Centennial Park
This is a great stop if you want to visit one of the following places:
- The Parthenon
- Natchez Trace
10. Vanderbilt University
This is a great stop if you want to visit one of these attractions:
- Vanderbilt Stadium
- West End Methodist Church
11. Hot Chicken
This is a great stop if you want to visit one of these places:
- Musica Statue Nashville
- Gilda’s Red Door Society
12. Belmont Mansion
This is the stop you’ll want to get off at if you want to visit one of these attractions:
- Little Sisters of the Poor
- Belmont University
- The Gallery of Iconic Guitars
13. Music Row
Music Row is a great stop if you want to visit one of these places:
- ASCAP
- BMI Records
- Curb Records
- RCA Studio B
14. The Gulch
This is a great stop if you want to visit one of these attractions:
- Two Old Hippies
- Station Inn
- Thompson Hotel
15. Frist Center
This is a great stop for you if you’d like to visit one of these places:
- Union Station
