Return to a simpler time of music, dancing, tasty treats and savory libations. Dardanella gives you a chance to step back to the sights and sounds of the Roaring Twenties.
Dardanella began at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in 2016 and quickly spread to Washington, Nashville and Atlanta. The New York Times was the first to report on Dardanella but it has also been written up in TIME magazine, The Washington Post, Town & Country and many other national and international publications.
The Roaring Twenties will be brought to life with bowler hats, flapper dresses and big band sounds. There will be dances of the Lindy Hop and the Charleston and dance lessons. Participate in lawn games like croquet, bocce and tug of war, photo sets, food and beverage, specialty alcoholic Prohibition cocktail bars and more. There will be vintage vendors selling authentic vintage clothing and newly minted replicas of the styles of the Twenties. Period attire is strongly encouraged.
