The 51st annual Maryland Seafood Festival is coming to Sandy Point State Park. Enjoy a weekend full of delicious seafood dishes, interactive cooking demonstrations, competitions, activities for kids and so much more. All this takes place along the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
There will be a lot for kids to do. Entertainment Avenue will have an Inflatable Moon Bounce House, Slide and an obstacle course. There’s a Fishmobile offering live exhibits and touch tanks. A “Raptor’s Eye” display will include live birds of prey and “touchables” for kids.
There will be live entertainment on both days. Performers include Scarab – The Journey Experience, Chasing Autumn, Loose Ties, Signal 13, Chesapeake Steel Drum Band, Bobby and the Believers, Common Courtesy and many more.
Come be a part of the always popular Crab Soup Cook Off. Try all the delicious soups and vote for your favorite. Watch local culinary artists display their skills in chef demos. Test your eating, picking and shucking skills against other competitors. There will be Beer & Oysters Tasting. Private cabanas are available for rental.
The Chesapeake Arts and Village will have local artists and merchants displaying their unique creations for an excellent shopping experience.
