The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle first opened its doors in December, 1924 with a Grand Opening Gala that had all of Seattle talking. Two huge spotlights on the hotel roof swept the sky. A one night stay in a guest room with a bath cost $3.50.

On December 31, 2025, the Fairmont Olympic will be celebrating their 101 years of history as well as the beginning of the new year filled with endless possibilities.
Jazz Soiree In The Golden Lounge – 8 pm to 1 am
You can enjoy live jazz entertainment, a sparkling reception and dinner stations by candlelight in the Golden Lounge. A fortune teller will be there and a photo booth with props. There will be late night dancing, midnight champagne toasts and the “First Dance of the Year.” Pricing is $150 – $299 per person.
Elegant Dining in the George
Dine in Art Deco elegance with two seating options. The first seating is from 7 pm to 9 pm. Pricing is $195 per person. The second seating is from 9 pm to 11 pm. Pricing is $250 per person. The late seating also includes champagne, toast, a party kit, and entry to the Golden Countdown bash at Olympic Bar, featuring a DJ and midnight countdown.
A Crimson New Year’s Eve at Founder’s Club
Step into the crimson glow of Founder’s Club for a speakeasy style celebration, beginning at 9 pm. Pricing is $160 per person. Each ticket includes 1 elevated cocktail, a festive party kit, toast and 1 glass of Pierre Jouet Belle Epouge Champagne. Enjoy specially curated cocktails in the speakeasy bar. You’ll also get entry to the Olympic Bar Lounge where a live DJ and a countdown will welcome 2026 in style.
