Las Vegas loves celebrating holidays and St. Patrick’s Day is one of the favorites. Green beer and Irish Whiskey will flow freely. And in Vegas, everyone is Irish for a day, no questions asked. The Welcome To Las Vegas sign will be lit up green and you’ll run out of fingers if you try to count all the leprechauns you’ll see.
O’Sheas BLOQ Party Celebration
The annual O’Sheas BLOQ Party celebration is a “must do.” O’Sheas is a boutique bar and casino at the LINQ Hotel & Casino. This celebration features a parade and live music from morning until midnight.
The free entertainment begins at 11 am along the LINQ Promenade with a piano player and a face painting booth by the High Roller Sky Shop.
The parade begins at noon, going down the LINQ Promenade. It will be led by Brian “Lucky” Thomas on a spectacular green and gold float. Also in the parade will be a mobile go go dance platform, stilt walkers, bagpipers, special celebrities, drummers, leprechauns, Irish dancers and B Boys. The parade will end in O’Sheas Casino.
A St. Patrick’s Day will be given by Mr. Lucky. And then the party will begin. There will be killer drink specials all day and night. Expect wall to wall people.
At 1 am, the show begins on the Fountain Stage in the LINQ Promenade. Lead off performers include Irish dancers, bagpipe players, a contortionist and the B Boys.
From 2 pm to 5 pm, one of Las Vegas’ top DJs will be spinning the hits on the Fountain Stage.
At 4 pm, Silversage will be performing at O’Sheas Casino. They are a local Vegas group that creates a unique blend of alternative pop and rock.
From 4 pm to 6 pm, the O’Sheas Beer Pong games will be played on the LINQ Promenade patio near the Center Strip Box Office.
Activities
The High Roller Observation Wheel at the LINQ Promenade will be lit green on St. Patrick’s Day. Take a spin and see the rest of Sin City’s lights.
The more adventurous can go fully shamrock and zip down the Fly Lines Zipline.
Other Live Entertainment
The Fountain Stage will have a live performance by The Saints of Las Vegas, who will play a mix of rock, pop, country and heavy metal hits.
At 9 pm, Darby O’Gill will perform at O’Sheas Casino. They are a high energy stage show band using fine music and cutting humor in an especially Irish style.
Food & Drinks
The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery in the LINQ Promenade offers classic Irish fare in an American sports bar. They will be offering drink specials for St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t be surprised if you see leprechauns in the Pub.
The Sky Lounge in the LINQ Promenade is offering a Shamrock Sour on St. Patrick’s Day. The Promenade’s ICEBAR and Off The Strip Bistro & Bar will also have St. Patrick’s Day themed drinks.
