Las Vegas is a city that enjoys celebrating cultural diversity and holidays. So it should be no surprise that Sin City goes all out for Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year, aka Lunar New Year, begins on February 1 this year.

2022 is the Year of the Tiger, the third sign of the Chinese zodiac. It is believed that the animal ruling your birth year influences your personality and ultimately your destiny. People born during the Year of the Tiger are brave, friendly, competitive, charming, love a challenge and are endowed with goodluck and authority.

Each year, The Venetian Resort commemorates the Lunar New Year with a colossal art installation. A gigantic Tiger will stand guard over the Waterfall & Atrium Gardens. The Venetian Resort’s floral and horticulture departments worked with a team of artisans from around the globe to ensure authenticity. A Feng Shui master recommends you walk clockwise around the tiger display three times to bring the blessings of Heaven, Earth and Mankind on you.
