Seattle’s French Fest is a celebration of French speaking culture. This will take place on March 24, 2024, from 11 am to 5 pm at the Armory Food & Event Hall in Seattle.
The festival will honor French gastronomy, inviting bakeries, restaurants and chocolate companies to participate in the program. It will showcase artists and groups from French speaking cultures in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of the French language in the world.
While France is the most well known French speaking country, there are many other countries and regions where French is spoken.
The French Fest wants to promote the French “joie de vive” through music, dancing, cooking demonstrations, film screenings, wine tastings and a baguette tasting contest. There will also be live performances on the main stage featuring traditional dancing and music from French speaking countries.
The festival debuted in 2013 and has been held every spring since then. Seattle’s French Fest is one of the West Coast’s largest Francophile themed festivals.
