Your Experience
You’ll meet the Northwest Whitewater Adventures team at Barton Convenience Store in Boring, Oregon. This is about thirty minutes away from Portland so it’s a very convenient location for a lot of people.
But your whitewater rafting adventure won’t begin there. They’ll shuttle you to Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, Oregon.
Then the experienced team at Northwest Whitewater Adventures will guide you down the Clackamas River. This fun experience will last about an hour and a half. Along the way, you’ll get to experience a few class 2 rapids. You also get to see a lot of beautiful river scenery and local wildlife. Your guide will also teach you a lot about the area. This is a fun and exciting way to explore the area.
After that, they’ll take you back to your car where you’ll follow them to a local Oregon brewery. You can enjoy a beverage and snacks here. Minors are allowed on this tour, but they will obviously not be able to drink alcoholic drinks (you do, however, need to be at least 7 years old to participate – and if you are under 18, you’ll need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver).
