Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel back in time to the Middle Ages? Well, what if for one night you could feel as if you did?
This is what you can experience at the Tournament of Kings. Tournament of Kings fittingly takes place at King Arthur’s Arena at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There are multiple sections in the arena and each represents a different “country”. Guests get to cheer on the king that represents their “country”. Knights from each “country” go to head-to-head in different competitions like jousting, sword-fighting, and gladiator-style battles.

But this isn’t just a show; it is a dinner show. You’ll get a dinner consisting of seasoned roasted Cornish Game Hen, roasted sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, a soft baked dinner roll, and a hand-decorated sugar cookie. You can also request gluten-free, vegan, and Vegetarian options. You won’t even be the only dining, either. A large round table is lowered onto the center of the arena so King Arthur and the other knights will also enjoy a feast.
Oh, and by the way, in keeping with feeling like you are stepping back in time, all of this food must be eaten with your hands.
After the dinner, court maidens will perform a song and dance number. One king will be named champion. And then Merlin will conjure snowfall!
A fun thing about this experience is that it is family-friendly, so much so that it made our list of the most kid-friendly Las Vegas activities.
