One of the most festive Christmas events in Yorkshire is the Christmas Adventure at Stockeld Park. It started on 22nd November 2025 and runs until 24th December 2025. I want to tell you about some of what you can enjoy at this event. Additionally, I’ll tell you how to save money on a ticket to the event.
Winter Illuminations
If you love Christmas lights, you’ll love it here! There’s a one-mile-long Christmas light trail. Along the way, you can grab some hot chocolate. There are even five outdoor playgrounds built into the trail both adults and children can enjoy.
There’s also a sensational Christmas light show in the Enchanted Forest taking place at dusk. It’s complete with projections, installations, sculptures, animations, and soundscapes.
Santa’s Grotto Experience
The journey to Santa’s Grotto begins as you make your way through the North Pole village.
First, you will meet Father Christmas. Next, you’ll encounter Santa’s playful elves.
Then, you’ll take a ride on an enchanted elevator that will magically take you to Santa’s log cabin! Mrs. Claus will be there to greet you when you arrive. After that, you’ll be taken to Santa for a photo opportunity. You even get a special gift!
Christmas Theatre Show
The Telegate Theatre puts on a Christmas show at the event that incorporates sing-along music, magic tricks, and a great cast of characters.
The Snowflake Maze
Can you make your way through a giant tree maze shaped like a snowflake?
Ice Rink
Enjoy ice skating around a covered ice rink.
