The lobsters are coming! The lobsters are coming! And they’re coming to Southern California!
The Original Lobster Festival is coming to the Fountain Valley Sports Park in Fountain Valley, California. This will be happening on September 6 and 7, 2025.
This festival was formerly known as the Original Long Beach Lobster Festival. It returns for its 29th year of providing Fresh Live Maine Lobsters. Lobsters will be flown in daily from the East Coast and prepared to mouth watering perfection in what the festival describes as the “World’s Largest Cooker.” They will be absolutely delicious.
If wearing a bib and cracking claws straight from the pot is not for you, the great vendors at the food court should have something you’ll enjoy more. Try a delectable lobster roll or a lobster slider or try lobster morsels in beignets. You can even try lobster on a stick.
Non-seafood related food items can be purchased, including BBQ, Mexican, American, Thai, Chinese and other international foods and desserts. Beer, wine, cocktails, sodas, water and more will also be available for purchase.

You can dance the day away to the live music of popular artists. Performers include

This festival is family friendly and kid friendly. There will be a Children’s Stage with Magic and Illusion Shows. Children 12 and under get free admission. There will be carnival rides and games. Kids can enjoy inflatable bounces and face painting.
Enjoy karaoke with a live band. There will be a dance floor and even dance lessons.
