Cool off this summer in New England’s largest water park! Water Country waterpark is a fun, family-friendly waterpark in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I want to tell you about some of these attractions you’ll find at Water Country. And then I’ll tell you how you can save money on admission to Water Country!
Attractions
Hyperlight
Hyperlight is an attraction that debuted a few years ago. It is a dual-action slide where on one side, you loop around to bright colors and dynamic sound. On the other side is a multicolor star field. This is definitely a full-sensory experience.
Giant Wave Pool
Giant Wave Pool is New England’s largest wave pool!
Dragon’s Den
This is an intense attraction for guests ages fourteen or so and up. It is a two-person tube ride where you’ll go into darkness before plummeting into the mist-shrouded abyss of the dragon.
Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror
As you could probably guess from the name, this too is a ride that’s for teenagers and adults. It is a two-person tube with a wicked tornado funnel and a twisting forty-foot plunge.
Racing Rapids & the Plunge
This attraction features classic tube slides. And long water slides. The Plunge is 396 feet long while Racing Rapids is 422 feet long.
Double Dive Boggan
Double Dive Boggan is a mat race water slide where you can compete against a family member or friend. It also has the distinction of being the waterpark’s only head first slide.
Triple Giant Slides
Three of the most exciting slides at Water Country area are at this attraction. Which is the fastest slide? You can test it out for yourself on this body slide.
Pirate’s Pool & Lagoon
Pirate’s Pool & Lagoon is a fun water play area with a pirate ship, cannons, volcanoes, and more. There is even a lounging area so you can relax while your kids play.
Thunder Falls & Wild Canyon
Thunder Falls & Wild Canyon is a whitewater rafting adventure for two to four guests with lots of twists and turns.
The Patriot
The Patriot is a fifty-eight-foot high-speed slide.
Shoot
If you’re afraid of the dark, then you may not want to try this ride. Because you’ll be in the dark in an enclosed slide before you splash down into a pool.
Screamer
This is the ride for adrenaline junkies, as this slide features an epic free fall. You can ride with a friend or by yourself.
Adventure River
Adventure River is a fourth-mile-long river ride with caves, waterfalls, and fountains.
Activity Pool
A large pool where you can cool off and relax.
Whirlpool
Relax in this pool and the currents will move you around – and possibly under the falls!
Bubble Bay
Bubble Bay is a play area adults and children can enjoy – and cool off in. There are spraying geysers and bubbling water. It is located right next to the Giant Wave Pool.
Tahiti Tree House
Tahiti Tree House is a fun tropical-themed water playground with a giant tipping bucket.
Happy Harbor
This re-imagined children’s splash pad area is a great place for kids to run around and cool off.
