There is something so exciting to me about trying new foods and drinks. After all, all your favorite foods and drinks were new to you at one time, right? You can try some great German foods and drinks at the German booth at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival in Disney World. We want to tell you about them and what our favorites were.
The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, by the way, is a festival that takes place all over Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. You can read more about the festival in our Epcot Food & Wine Festival Guide.
During the festival, you can find global marketplace set up throughout the park where you can find some great foods and drinks. A lot of the ones in the World Showcase section are themed to different countries and areas. And the German global marketplace is no different.

Food & Drink Review
So a great thing about the food and drink offerings at the Germany Global Marketplace is that you can really have a nice meal here. And it would be a really good meal – and more unique than a standard theme park meal.
Your entree could be the Schinkennudeln. The Schinkennudeln was a menu item by the way we really loved.
This dish was so good that I wish I knew the recipe. All the tastes blended so well together. It was so cohesive that it was almost as if you didn’t know what you were tasting in a good way because the blend was so good. Like sometimes with dishes like this, one bite will be the ham bite, one bite will be the onion bite, and so on. But that was not the case here. It was just a really great dish.
If you are looking for a dessert item, then the dessert item here we highly recommend is the Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce.
It was delicious and was good at what was expected (I mean, look at it- it has to be good, right?). The apple dominated the taste but there was a sweetness to it that was really good.
And then if you are looking for a drink to go with your meal, you have a great choice. We do have a favorite: Selbach-Oster Riesling.
The Selbach-Oster Riesling was very light and very good. It was quite refreshing.
Conclusion
So Germany is a Global Marketplace that my family highly recommends. It has a great selection so you can have a really nice meal here.
And an added bonus is that there is some seating around Germany so you can sit and enjoy your meal.
And if there are no tables available in Germany, you can always walk over to nearby Italy and enjoy your meal there).
