Christmas In Color Drive Through Lights
If you see lights in the sky over Garden City, Idaho, don’t call 911 to report a UFO. You’re probably seeing the Christmas in Color at Expo Idaho. After all, 1.5 million lights shine brightly in the Idaho night sky.
Seeing Christmas lights has always been part of my family’s Christmas tradition. We’ve always enjoyed seeing them from the warmth of our car each year. And if you live in the greater Boise area, you can see unbelievably beautiful lights safely in the warmth and comfort of your own car.
Christmas In Color is a drive-through animated light show in the Western Idaho Fairgrounds. One and a half million lights are synchronized to holiday music. You can get the music through your car’s radio.
You’ll go through immersive light tunnels and see leaping arches. View RGB pixel light fields. Your drive through will take approximately 30 minutes. Multi-colored light displays will include whimsical winter and holiday elements. There will be Christmas trees, candy canes, and snowmen. Your very merry drive-through will take you by giant reindeer, angels, stars, gingerbread men and so much more.
This lighting extravaganza is a magical holiday experience sure to be enjoyed by all ages.
This is now open and will run through January 1, 2023.
Admission is charged per car. No vehicle taller than 10 feet will be allowed No buses, limos, or trailers are allowed.
Towns within 20 miles of Garden City include Boise, Middleton, Horseshoe Bend, Meridian, Eagle, Caldwell, Star, Kuna, and Nampa.
